Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hubert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hubert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gargax is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gargax was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Srorthen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and halfling compassion
