Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She takes great joy in being the best Guard in town.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has achieved small success as a Guard.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her hair is white and curly. Her black eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Decarabia hails from a village terrorized by goblins. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Decarabia never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and many goblins want her driven away

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Dwarves. Her skin is dark but she possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. She wears light armors faded through time and improper care. Her tied-back hair is white. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: Nalaed hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Nalaed was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a worn and beaten armor. His golden hair is matted, messy, and big. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolf does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Rolf reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and a deep hatred of giants

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. A true patriot, Fallond would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.
