History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She worked as a nervous Bookbinder and found it very stressful. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has money and likes to spend it
