History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and doesn't want to be a bricklayer and was forced into it by her family

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Gerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. History: Syllin hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Syllin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.
