Peren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Peren. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Balifra was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Balifra's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Valorean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He tends to his Bricklayer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Althaea was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
