History: The child of a Priest, who enjoyed hunting, Mara was taken on many hunting expeditions. After coming to the age of reason, Mara took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 3 years.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against brigands
