History: Harbek lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Through the years after Right-Handed was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Right-Handed's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Right-Handed and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and to reunite with her old friends

History: Born to a Locksmith, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Rosamund alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
