History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Efferil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
