History: He was born into a rich family. After coming to the age of reason, Gimurt took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Zagga was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Gifted from a young age, Nalaed studied abroad. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: A middle-aged man, he has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his white robe, and is pretty ugly. His white crest is thinning but still full. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is a Seamstress first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quarethon grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quarethon. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born into a rich family. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
