When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she usually wears her brown robe and has her axe always slung over her shoulder. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: This woman loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north.
