Personality: He is mildly Halfling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Susannah hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. Susannah is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Susannah's homeland. Susannah decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
