History: Birel hails from a village terrorized by brigands. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Barfa was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a tan shirt, with a white mid length shorts with white tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Oppleby began to lead the lost caravan. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
