History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Oppleby was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and balancing her hectic life and new dilettante responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Ilanis was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Description: This malnourished man very much looks the part of a Crown-heir. His hair is red and very short. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Borun grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
