History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Silent and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Soapmaker. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in a small forest village. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Griselda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born in the west. His childhood dream was to be a Masseuse, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and balancing his hectic life and new apothecary responsibilities is difficult
