However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Ootah alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
