Description: He wears a green shirt, with a brown mid length shorts with brown tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his dagger, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Gifted from a young age, Pelaios studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pelaios grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pelaios. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, she usually wears her brown robe and has her scythe always slung over her shoulder. Her fur is lavender and very short. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing white cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and money/treasure

Description: A 2'8" western woman, she wears a tattered pair of loose red pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. Her hair is short and auburn. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. Pearl is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise her children well

Description: She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her white hair is wavy and long. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is a Adventurer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Beatrice enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Adventurer responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
