History: Emerald was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Assassin they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her white hair is lengthy. Her gold eyes peer out from beneath her small green hat.

Personality: She hates Tieflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ea is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Galiena lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Cartwright, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
