History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Skûn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Skûn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. She now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. After coming to the age of reason, Bertram took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and to pay off his debts
