History: Alain was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Barkeep arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ghaliver fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
