Description: This slender woman stands about 5'6". She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She has no hair. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.
Personality: Matilda is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She takes great joy in being the best Gardener in town.
History: Born to a Banker, her father struggled to pay the bills. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. Being a Gardener kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears a robe, a symbol of death around her neck, and a scythe on her belt. Her black hair is wavy and long. Her half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she has decided she is irredeemable

She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly whips and swords. With wild chestnut hair. Her skin is flawless and her green eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Nedda was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nedda decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Detective kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She enjoys reading and quiet.
History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to be a shoemaker again
