History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her parents enrolled her in a Ranger school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she loathes her own lifestyle

She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Althaea liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
