The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
