Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Euphemia is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a Beggar, her father struggled to pay the bills. One day when Euphemia was young, her father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her father dropped to the ground dead. Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Euphemia was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
