History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When Hupe reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. He has violet eyes and a brown hat with a blue feather.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Nalral hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: Standing 4'5", this man prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His hair is chestnut and curly. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Torbera enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Torbera was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Torbera fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
