Description: 5'2" and muscular, this southern man wears a black tunic with grey highlights, and long yellow pants that bunch up around his shoes. His white hair is lengthy. His skin is flawless and his black eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. After coming to the age of reason, Mantus took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy black stubble. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull white iron scale mail. He has a hunchback. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He is baby faced.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is content; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a glaive on his belt. His golden hair is singed and shortened. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His first spouse was a Laborer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Hunter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He is greedy; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
