History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This malnourished woman wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized blue coat. Her chestnut hair is heavily combed to the right. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Cask will drive conversation. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His dark red hair is braided into rings. His eyes are white and catlike.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Chem was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and expand his business

Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dustin grew up listening to his father's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
