History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
