History: Theodoric was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Theodoric was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bather. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Elysande was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new mayor responsibilities is difficult
