Personality: Bethrynna wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but she was a colossal failure. She became a Detective soon after.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born to a Layabout, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She wears her black hair down. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Emeny was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She found a children's book about a Halfling Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
