History: Born to a Guard, his father struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: He got into the Body Guard business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Body Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lone fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
