Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He tends to his Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
