History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Bertram reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He worked as a nervous Tailor and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Althaea never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Description: This man is very fat, and is dressed in earthy colors with a green and black handkerchief worn on his left side. His rusty crest is long and unkept. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Valorean lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Valorean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Valorean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She is a Lycanthrope in disguise. She married young, but lost her spouse to orcs. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
