She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Diggory grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Tippletoe and her spouse have recently divorced.
