Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Don was born the youngest of three triplets. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and doesn't want to be a shoemaker and was forced into it by his family

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Susannah was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Susannah decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She tends to her Bellfounder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Bookbinder. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Frug liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frug fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
