History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A 5'9" northern woman, she wears a black costume with the symbols of death on her torso. Her chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. A gifted student she started as a Carter, but she got bored and became a Mayor. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Mayor for the past few years.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: This woman wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her quarterstaff with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her lavender fur is heavily combed to the right. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
