History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gorbundus was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Hirrathak hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
