History: Eloise was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: She was born into a rich family. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Gifted from a young age, Mehen studied abroad. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.
