One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Raer was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Raer liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a glaive and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Shax was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her first spouse was a Seamstress, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
