History: Mara lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emeny embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Emeny was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush.

History: Shifting lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
