Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Alain was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Alain's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

History: Born to a Sailor, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Mardred took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Locksmith work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has achieved small success as a Locksmith.
