History: He was born into a rich family. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in lance use. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.
