She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She tends to her Body Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Purah fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
