His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Jak took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Igden was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. After a long history of fighting, Igden and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fortune-teller for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She was born in a small desert village. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
