Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aura was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gorfel does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Xappan was born with his father's beautiful face. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and wants to work out more often
