Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Laborer. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has hazel eyes and a blue hat with a tan feather.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Qualen was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Laborer. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her hair is short and brown. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Servant mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Description: He tends to wear a violet poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his halberd, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Body Guard business.

History: Born to a Junk Dealer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Rolf was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Rolf decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: He wears black leather gloves, a black jacket, and tight pants. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He has no crest. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Kaladan began to lead the lost caravan. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: Standing 5'3", this woman is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. Her deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Egelina took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up halberd and armor she uses now. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
