Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears dark leathers with embroidery. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is short and blonde. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is an amazing painter.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heward grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heward. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Butcher. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Description: She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly monstrous two handed axes and maces. Her chestnut hair is knotted and matted. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Thodris was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: She is a mite stocky and wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. She keeps her cinnamon fur in a pixie cut. Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends
