History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lone fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Zaffrab is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Zaffrab alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
