Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Five's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. The war was a terrible time for her, and Five does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Carter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shaká was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
