History: He was born in the east. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Barendd was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Born in the north to a Crown-heir, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.
