History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Eva reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ilanis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ilanis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has worked as a Cartwright like her father before her.

After coming to the age of reason, Alvyn took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Shadow lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
